One studio, built end to end.

ES Designs is my studio. I build VR for Meta Quest in Unity and C#, and the web apps, APIs, and databases that sit behind them. The current focus is Thrustline, a racing game powered by your workout, coming to the Meta Horizon Store in December 2026.

I spent 21 years inside higher education before going full time on ES Designs in May 2026. Most of that time I led online learning, instructional design, and faculty development, first as a senior faculty member and Director of a Center for Teaching and Learning, then as Executive Director at a Massachusetts community college. I led a college-wide emergency pivot to remote learning during COVID.

In 2020 I started teaching myself to code, to close the gaps I kept seeing between what teachers and students needed and what institutional tools delivered. Today I write production C#, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript, and ship full-stack work across Next.js, React, Supabase, and Postgres, with over 113 repositories on GitHub.

I hold an MFA in Creative Writing (Poetry) from Lesley University, an MA in English Writing and Teaching from UMass Boston, and a BA from UMass Lowell. I’m based in Massachusetts.
